Seminar on ‘World Water Day’

(March 21, 2024) Centre of Research and Innovation in Maritime Affairs organized an insightful seminar to commemorate the World Water Day 2024. The seminar covered the Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 6 that is "Water and Sanitation, and Good Health and Well-being", respectively. Dr. Kaneez Fatima, Assistant Professor, Department of Life Sciences, University of Management and Technology Lahore, delivered an informative talk titled "Happy World Water Day".

She underscored the critical importance of water conservation, emphasizing its essential role in sustaining life. She illuminated the significance of water, stressing that water resources are invaluable and finite. Also, she shed light on the critical role of water in various aspects of life. Furthermore, a documentary crafted by one of MUL ambassadors of SDGs was screened, based on the theme of global water crisis and efforts toward sustainable water management. The seminar served as a platform for meaningful discussion and calls to action towards saving water for sustainable future.
